Synthesia is a long-established enterprise-focused AI avatar video platform founded in London in 2017. The current avatar generation is Express-2, delivering expressive faces and natural body language. With 240+ avatars, 160+ languages, and 250+ templates, it's adopted worldwide for corporate training, internal comms, and product documentation.
Current Model: Express-2 Avatars
Express-2 pairs voice cloning (Express-Voice) with avatar rendering (Express-Video) in a diffusion-transformer (DiT) engine. Beyond facial expression and lip sync it produces context-aware hand and body gestures — waving, pointing — and outputs 1080p, 30fps video of arbitrary length. Express-2 avatars are available on every plan at no extra cost.
