Overview
⚠️ Sora has been discontinued by OpenAI. The web and mobile apps shut down on April 26, 2026, and the Sora API stops accepting requests on September 24, 2026.
Sora cannot be adopted for new projects. Existing API-based workflows must migrate to another model before the cutoff. No successor (Sora 3) has been announced.
