Salesforce Einstein / Agentforce
Overview
Salesforce Einstein is the AI layer built into Salesforce. Its center today is Agentforce 360, the agentic platform: the Atlas reasoning engine has been rebuilt as Atlas 3.0, and multi-agent orchestration reached general availability in the Summer '26 release on June 15, 2026. Built on Einstein AI and Data Cloud, it runs autonomous agents across the Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds.
Key Features
Agentforce 360
Autonomous AI agent platform operating across the Salesforce ecosystem, capable of executing complex multi-step work.
- Atlas Reasoning Engine 3.0 — replaces decision-tree routing with dynamic semantic interpretation and cuts LLM calls before the first response token from four to two, sharply reducing latency
- Multi-agent orchestration — chains agents with different roles to finish one job
- Agent Builder / Prompt Builder — low-code custom agents
- Specialized agents for sales, service, marketing
Choice of Foundation Model
Agentforce 360 lets you pick the underlying model. Anthropic's Claude is offered as a preferred model for regulated industries — financial services, healthcare, life sciences, cybersecurity — and Google's Gemini is also available on the Agentforce 360 Platform and Atlas.
Einstein GPT
Personalized email and report generation grounded in customer data.
Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) Integration
Salesforce's real-time customer data platform has been renamed from "Data Cloud" to "Data 360" to match the Agentforce 360 branding (both names still appear on Salesforce's own site). Integration with the real-time customer data platform enables accurate, current AI responses.
Slack
Einstein features in Slack: summaries, action items, search.
