Compared to before

Until last month, ElevenLabs was built around Eleven v3 voice generation and cloning, with music production left to other tools.

What changed

ElevenLabs adds Music v2.5, a text-to-music feature available via app and API, trained only on licensed audio.

Why it matters

Great news if you want voice and music from one account and credit pool. If you only need a standalone music generator, this might be overkill.
