What is Claude Cowork
Claude Cowork is Anthropic's PC-automation AI agent, generally available for paid plan users from May 2026. It lets Claude autonomously control the desktop — browsers, files, and apps — across multi-step tasks.
Unlike the developer-facing Computer Use API, Cowork is accessible directly from the Claude desktop app. The Zoom connector (launched alongside Cowork) lets users feed meeting recordings, chat logs, and whiteboards into Cowork for downstream task execution such as drafting minutes or preparing workshop agendas.
