Overview

PathAI is a Boston-based company aiming to improve cancer diagnosis accuracy using AI. Its models analyze pathology images (digital tissue samples) to help pathologists detect patterns and abnormalities. In May 2026, Roche agreed to acquire PathAI for up to $1.05 billion ($750M upfront plus up to $300M in milestone payments), with closing expected in the second half of 2026.

AISight Dx (Digital Pathology Platform)

A cloud-based digital pathology platform that lets pathologists view and manage slides digitally and applies AI to key diagnostic steps. It holds FDA 510(k) clearance for use in primary diagnosis, and in February 2026 Labcorp expanded its agreement to deploy it across its national network of anatomic pathology labs and hospital collaborations.
